Nothing depending on ever-changing stories in later years by a select number of individuals. Tall tale sea stories don't necessarily get better with age if you haven't figured it out yet -- especially via certain web sites. After all, over 20 years since Ennes' book came out, and just what has it accomplished, besides having been shown to be less than an accurate account?
