Unofficial Arguments Supporting the Israeli Position

In the interest of fairness (see our Fairness Policy), we made an offer to publish, unedited, arguments offered by any responsible individual or group in support of the Israeli position. To date, this offer has not been accepted. If anyone is considering to accept this offer, send us an email.

As a substitute, we offer links to well-known web sites that support the official Israeli position. If there are other sites that should be listed here, let us know.

As for the sites listed below, please understand that we do not assume any responsibility for the content of them. Many people, veterans in particular, may find them highly offensive.

When evaluating the arguments presented on these Internet sites, we ask that you apply the same standards that you should apply to the arguments presented on this site: by the United States Government, Government of Israel, and our unofficial American arguments. What is the source of each factual allegation and can it be verified independently?

USS Liberty Slanders

This site supports the Israeli version of the attack, while discounting those who doubt it as being driven purely by anti-Semetic motives.

The Jewish Virtual Library

This site reverberates the official position of the Government of Israel and adds additional materials that were released after the official Israeli position (the Israel Defense Forces History Report) was released in 1982.

The Liberty Incident

This site is maintained by Ahron Jay Cristol, author of The Liberty Incident. The website is an extension of the book. See also: analysis of the book.
